The attached documents make up a book written by David Winkel for teaching computer architecture. The approach used in the book is to develop a gate level simulation of a PDP8 mini computer. The PDP 8 was one of the most popular computers of its time. The simplicity of the PDP 8 makes it possible to complete the project in one semester.
